MakerDAO’s DAI Onboarding Matic Network

MakerDAO’s $DAI, widely considered the foundation stone of Defi on Eth, is available on Matic Mainnet!

Over 600 products have integrated DAI, and it remains the backbone of the DeFi industry, with 430m DAI currently circulating.

To improve the usability of Dai and increase adoption, Dai is being integrated with Matic. This will enable users to transfer Dai at lightning-fast speeds with negligible fees, whilst encouraging innovation among devs who wish to integrate Dai into their solutions.

Slow transaction speeds and high costs are two of the most limiting factors preventing DeFi from flourishing. Matic is committed to removing these barriers.

With this in mind, other major stablecoins are also preparing to integrate with Matic.
